We have carried out a detailed store location analysis exercise and have identified close to 100 potential target towns which we could trade in subject to finding the right, affordable location.
The Works trades from a range of store sizes but the ideal size is between 1,500 and 2,500 sq ft, with an ancillary room or storeroom of around 500 sq feet. The location needs to be on the ground floor, in a prominent high street or shopping centre location. We need high footfall. In locations with high footfall we will consider temporary or short-term lets.
We are proud of our bright, modern storefronts and we typically use good quality flooring, suspended ceilings and recessed lighting. It's important for us to give our shoppers a clean and pleasant environment, well lit with attractive merchandising, making the shopping experience easy and pleasing.
