The Works have carried out a detailed store location analysis exercise and have identified close to 100 potential target towns which they could trade in subject to finding the right, affordable location.
The Works trade from a range of store sizes but the ideal size is between 1,500 and 2,500 sq feet, with an ancillary room or storeroom of around 500 sq feet. The location needs to be in a prominent high street or shopping centre with high footfall. Temporary or short-term lets will also be considered.
The company is proud of its bright, modern storefronts and typically use good quality flooring, suspended ceilings and recessed lighting. Itâs important for The Works to give shoppers a clean and pleasant environment that is well lit with attractive merchandising, making the shopping experience easy and enjoyable. Current landlords include Prudential, The Mall, Westfield and Land Securities - as well as many more.
