At The Works, inspiring a love of reading has always been at the heart of what we do. From a child finding their first favourite book to families sharing bedtime stories, or people rediscovering their love of reading, every page creates possibility. It builds confidence, fuels curiosity and imagination, develops essential life skills, and brings people together across generations.
That's why we're proud to support the National Year of Reading 2026 and the Go All In initiative - a nationwide moment that shines a light on the importance of reading and the joy it can bring in every stage of life. As a committed partner, we're proud to play our part in helping make reading more accessible, inclusive and enjoyable by reconnecting it with the things that already inspire us.

Our Find Your Story Campaign
In support of the National Year of Reading, we've launched Find Your Story - a campaign that encourages children to follow their interests and discover books that truly excite them. We want children to feel confident exploring stories that resonate with them, shaped by the characters, themes and worlds that spark their imagination. With a little support from their peers and the grownups around them, children can discover the stories that inspire them most.
Find Your Story helps children experience reading as an act of self-discovery, giving them the freedom to choose the books that feel right for them and build a positive relationship with reading.
