Materials:

- White card

- Ribbon

- Stickers

- Hole punch

Step 1: Cut a piece of white card roughly 20cm x 6cm. This size works beautifully for most children’s books and gives plenty of space for decorating. Punch a hole at the top — this is where your ribbon will go later.

Step 2: Now for the fun part. Let kids choose their favourite stickers and decorate the bookmark however they like — patterns, characters, rainbows, stars, or a full collage. Stickers are perfect for younger crafters because they’re mess‑free, screen‑free, and instantly satisfying.

Step 3: Cut a 20cm length of ribbon, thread both ends through the hole, and tie them in a neat bow at the front or back. The ribbon adds a soft, colourful finish and makes the bookmark easy to spot between the pages.
