Pride Flag
What do the colours in the Pride flag mean?
The Pride flag is full of bright colours and each one has a special meaning:
- Red: Life
- Orange: Healing
- Yellow: Sunlight
- Green: Nature
- Blue: Harmony
- Purple: Spirit
- Yellow triangle and purple circle: Represent intersex people.
- The unbroken purple circle represents wholeness, completeness, and the right of intersex people to autonomy and integrity.
- White, pink and blue: Colours of the transgender flag.
- Black and brown: Represent LGBTQ+ people of colour, and also those living with or lost to HIV/AIDS.
